Plaza Of Americas (31012), United States of America, Dallas, TexasAgency Asset Management - Senior Director (Commercial Real Estate)The Agency Asset Management Senior Director will manage a team of associates responsible for a variety of functions within the Agency Finance Asset Management group including oversight of the risk components of the Agency loan portfolio with special focus on the Fannie Mae risk book. The position will include, but not be limited to oversight of the watchlist process, special servicing, hazard losses, rehab construction, forward monitoring, maturity management, consents, and other related areas.

This role will report to and work closely with the Head of Agency Asset Management and will interact closely with Asset Management, Servicing and Underwriting leads as well as other partner groups within the Balance Sheet team of the bank. Additional areas of responsibility include risk strategy, procedures governance, technology, and training related to the functional areas covered. Responsibilities:Manage a team of asset managers and analysts with dotted line reporting of others as it relates to the special risk monitoring functions.

Oversight of select portfolio-level functions.Subject matter expert on risk monitoring, mitigation, and special servicing.Interaction with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Special Asset Management teams.

Update processes and procedures to reflect changes in Agency requirements and market conditions.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or military experienceAt least 10 years of experience in commercial real estateAt least 10 years of asset management experience with managing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac multifamily loansAt least 5 years of experience in special servicing At least 5 years of experience managing a teamPreferred Qualifications:Highly developed analytical skills including the ability to create complex spreadsheets and financial analysesStrong ability to interpret and implement complex loan/legal documentsStrong writing and oral presentation skillsStrong interpersonal and partnership skillsHigh level of proficiency in technology products including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
